About the Role:As an Installation & Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering top quality service to our clients. Your responsibilities will include installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting equipment, such as
street lighting, traffic signals, or ITS street furniture.Key Responsibilities:- Health & Safety:Ensure a safe working environment, comply with legal requirements, and use appropriate PPE.
- Operations:Install and calibrate new equipment, perform maintenance, and provide technical support.
- Communications:Maintain clear communication with team members and clients, and participate in department meetings.
- Business Management System:Adhere to company standards and contribute to achieving departmental objectives.
What Were Looking For as the Installation & Maintenance Engineer:- Qualifications required:HNC or ONC in electronic engineering, apprentice electrician trained to 17th Edition, CSCS, HEA, HERS Registration cards, and Highways Passport Card. (Dont worry if you dont have all qualifications)!
- Experience:Proven experience in an Installation & Maintenance Engineer based role, working on street lighting, traffic signals, ITS street furniture, or similar equipment.
- Skills:Strong fault-finding abilities, excellent IT skills (Microsoft Office), and a good standard of written and spoken English.
- Personal Attributes:Team player, problem-solver, enthusiastic, self-motivated, flexible, and able to work at height (IPAF training preferred).
